SuperNova is a place where ambition meets action: a dynamic festival that brings together innovators, creators, new ideas and opportunities.
On March 25–26, Luc Plancke, CEO & Founder of Enperas, participated in SuperNova 2026 in Antwerp, Belgium.
SuperNova is a place where ambition meets action: a dynamic festival that brings together innovators, creators, new ideas and opportunities.
At SuperNova, a range of topics was presented, including technology and sustainability in Europe and building business cases for sustainable chemistry.

Enperas was founded as a spin‑off and creation of VITO (VITO4STARTERS), a Flemish strategic research centre and a leading European institute for technological research in sustainable chemistry, energy, materials, land use and health. VITO accelerated the transition to a competitive, clean and secure energy system in Flanders by:
introducing short material cycles to establish global ecosystems for the circular economy
radically reducing consumption of fossil‑based feedstocks and energy within the Flemish chemical sector
facilitating innovative, preventive and affordable healthcare, supported by measurement instruments and data
stimulating sustainable use of space and water, with links to health, agriculture and related areas
Enperas, which supports the chemical and building‑materials manufacturers in calculating environmental footprints, actively participated in SuperNova and networked with manufacturers to demonstrate the Enperas’ Life Cycle Assessment Software - LCA Quadrant Tool. The LCA Tool helps companies calculate the environmental footprint of their building materials and chemicals and empowers them to make informed decisions, promote eco‑design, secure markets, and contribute to decarbonization and significant CO₂ reductions.
